SwingPath (“SwingPath”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides a golf coaching platform that helps coaches manage scheduling, clients, communications, payments, and optional calendar integrations (the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Service, including information obtained through Google APIs (such as Google Calendar) if you choose to connect your account.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information (such as name, email, phone number, and login credentials).
- Scheduling and lesson information you create (dates/times, location, notes).
- Support requests and communications with us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device/browser information and log data (such as IP address and timestamps).
- Usage data about how you interact with the Service.
- Cookies or similar technologies used for authentication, security, and preferences.
2.3 Google Calendar (optional)
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we request access to:
- Google Calendar events (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events) to create, update, and delete lesson events you sync. - Basic account info (
userinfo.email,userinfo.profile) to show which Google account is connected.
To provide the calendar sync feature, we may store:
- Connected provider account email (if returned by Google).
- Selected calendar ID and calendar name (if you choose one).
- Encrypted refresh tokens and short-lived encrypted access tokens.
- Provider event IDs for events created/updated so we can manage them later.
- Sync telemetry (status, errors, retry counts).
We do not store your entire Google Calendar contents. We do not use Google user data for advertising, data brokerage, or sale.
3. How we use information
- Provide and operate the Service (accounts, scheduling, lesson management).
- Enable optional integrations you choose (such as Google Calendar sync).
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, email/SMS, payments, and monitoring), and with third-party providers you connect (for example, Google) to perform the integration you request.
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell Google user data.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)
SwingPath’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We restrict human access to Google user data except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations where permitted.
6. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. For calendar integrations, OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and only decrypted in memory when needed to perform provider requests.
7. Data retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (such as security and compliance). If you disconnect Google Calendar, we delete stored integration credentials within the Service and stop future sync activity.
8. Your choices and controls
- You can disconnect Google Calendar from within SwingPath settings.
- You can revoke SwingPath’s access from your Google Account security settings (Third-party access).
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information (subject to verification and legal requirements).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and may provide additional notice if changes are material.
